  Radio London's managing director Philip T. Birch started an office in London and assembled an efficient sales team. Soon the station acquiered some high profile clients like Colgate-Palmolive, Heinz and News of the World.

Big "L" was represented in Britain by Radlon (Sales) Ltd. (17 Curzon Street, London W1. Tel: Mayfair 5361), whose managing director was Philip Birch. The photo left shows Radlon's office building.
